On Wednesday, July 30, 2025, Al-Ameed University welcomed Professor Dr. Abbas Rasheed Al-Dadah Al-Mousawi, Head of the Education and Higher Education Authority and Member of the Board of Directors at the Al-Abbas’s Holy Shrine. He was received by the University President, Professor Dr. Joudat Nouri Al-Jashami, along with the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Maytham Hameed Al-Qanbar, and the Assistant President for Administrative and Legal Affairs, Professor Dr. Mushtaq Kareem Abdulrahim.
The visit was made to offer congratulations on the occasion of the College of Nursing obtaining Full Programmatic Accreditation from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, marking it as the first private nursing college in Iraq to receive this prestigious accreditation, and the second among both public and private nursing colleges nationwide—an academic accomplishment that adds to the University’s distinguished record of achievements.
